Pyramid Lake Anglers Guide Service

Owned and operated by veteran guide Joe Contaldi, who has over 25 years guiding experience. Joe and his team run a premier angling operation that offers both fly fishing

and spin guided trips on both shoreline and boat charter.

The foundation of our operation is to offer a high level of customer service, professionalism, and experience.

We also have other qualified guides available for large groups and trolling.

All our guides are highly trained professionals with decades of experience.

Still Water Charters

Join us on our 22 ft center console Skeeter ZX2200 bay boat for an unforgettable fishing experience. To ensure the best possible outing, we limit our load to 3 anglers per trip. Each angler is provided with two 8wt outfits: one with floating line for indicator fishing, and the other with a fast-sinking line for retrieving. All leaders, tippet, and our custom-tied flies are included.

During the 7 to 8-hour trip, we offer cold water and snacks to keep you refreshed.

For larger groups, clubs and corporate outings we have a fleet of 4 boats available, which can accommodate up to 12 anglers.

Custom Ladder Chairs

You have access to our state of art custom ladder chairs. these ladders offer the ultimate in comfort and stability they keep out of the crashing wave zone. The stable platform enables you to stand when casting and a comfortable swivel chair to sit down on for long periods. you will spend more time on the water with our custom ladders chair then in your car! We also offer these custom ladder chairs for all our corporate and fly-fishing clubs’ outings up to 20 ladders ready for any group.

Gear

Waders and boots are available on request.

* Please bring your waders boots, sunglasses, eye protection and weather appropriate gear for the time of the year you book. We will advise you of our recommendations to help make sure you or your group is prepared for trip.

Lunches For Full Day Shoreline Trips

We have fresh brewed, hot beach coffee available all day. Shoreline gourmet sandwiches, chips, cookies and ice water non-alcoholic beverages are provided.

Lodging

Pyramid lake is an easy 50min drive from Reno Nevada. A rental car will be needed for your trip when you arrive. We recommend taking advantage the multiple casino hotels throughout Reno, Nevada for your lodging needs during you stay.
